Certified LeSS Practitioner Training, August 28-30, 2018, in Helsinki
On the same road? Or each Team traveling their own?
About 10 years ago when Craig Larman and Bas Vodde published their first book on scaling Agile (Scaling Lean and Agile Development, Larman & Vodde). The fundamentals have not changed – Agile gets more difficult when you go beyond the one Team. But much has been learnt since then, and many of those lessons have been distilled into the Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) framework.
LeSS provides simple structural rules and guidelines on adopting Scrum in large development efforts and is also a framework for scaling Agile development across multiple teams. LeSS builds on Agile principles such as empiricism, cross-functional and self-managing teams and provides a framework for applying those at scale.
The Certified LeSS Practitioner training is a highly interactive, in-depth course covering the LeSS principles, framework, rules, and guides. It provides essential information for adopting and continuously improving LeSS in your organisation using various thinking tools, organisational tools and action tools. The course contains an overview of LeSS, stories on LeSS adoptions, exercises and extensive Q&A sessions to ensure that the topics most of interest to the participants are investigated in detail.
Wolfgang Richter from Austria is coming to run the training. He has roughly 20 years of experience in Agile and has personally led scaled Agile projects. He is actively coaching organisations in the use of LeSS (and other Agile frameworks) through his company JIPP.it in Austria and other countries.
The course is organised by Petri Heiramo from Agilecraft oy and will be run in Helsinki, on August 28-30. The course language is English. All three course days are planned to start at 9:00 and will finish at 17:00.
